In '95 Laughing Gallary was released on American. Their video for Uninvited was excessively played on Mtv. Mainly consisting of them being in a Plastic bubble (the boy in the bubble type deal) and playing their song, while everyone was outside the bubble dancing around. Anyways, after that they went on tour...Remember the good old days when you could watch mtv and still respect it? nevermind..personal notes.
In '96 they released The Little Death on epitaph records...which btw if you can't find this in the store, email me and i'll send you an order form for it..i think i have some in my room. Dave apparently left the band three days before it was released. They left American records after this and went on tour and finally ended up signing to RCA Records. Brainiac 7" was done sometime (like you think i know?) and in '98 Are You My Friend was released, but they were joined by two new members, Christian, and Michael.
As of now..from what I hear they're working on a demo in order to stay on RCA records..just a thought, but maybe if RCA did a better job of promoting they wouldn't have to worry about it, for example there is absolutely no ruth ruth Cd/tapes/Lp's in Indiana, even Laughing Gallary can't be found, although music land still has their little card holding the place for where Ruth Ruth cd's should be. (someday i will take that damn thing)
So anyways, don't mind my personal comments, but some people like to think of Ruth Ruth as poppunk, although Kennedy said "If I had to put a label on our music, I guess i'd call it American Contemporary Pop," just..so people know.
Little Facts About Ruth Ruth
that's basically my imput as for now
