Hello! My name is Sherri.

Until recently I was a stay-at-home mother of one "sweet" little girl (well, I actually worked a few hours a week at T&D Trucking, Inc., my inlaw's company). But only a couple of weeks ago, I went back out into the working world, working towards management in a "king" of the fast food industry!

Here is my boring life story!!

I was born in Terre Haute, IN, in June, 1974. When I was two, we moved to Indianapolis, and around the age of 4, we moved to a small town named Kingman. I went to school in Veedersburg,IN. I graduated from Fountain Central Jr./Sr. High School. There I participated in such things as band (Clarinet), drama club, Spanish Club, and the school newspaper,...of which I was the editor for two years.
While I was a member of the band, we placed seventh in the Indiana State Marching Band Finals in the RCA Dome (Hoosier Dome, at the time).
I also had several poems published nationally (and in my school's creative writing magazine)while in high school. I also was a 1992 Project XL finalist.
I graduated in May, 1992, and began college at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College that fall. During the 3 semesters I went to school there, I studied Journalism (and wrote in the popular Woods magazine)and Spanish.
I left college during my third semester and began to work full time at everyone's favorite place, McDonalds, which is where I met the man I eventually married, Chris. We lived together for nearly three years when I found out I was pregnant with our daughter, Cheyenne.
We got married nearly a month before she was born (nothing like waiting until the last minute!). Since then, I have tried to stay home with her, although I did work a little bit off and on outside the home during her first year.
I have enjoyed being home with her greatly. In June 1999, she started going to preschool (great time to catch up on...me). Spring 2000, we took her out of preschool. The drive was just way out of the way, and the money, I felt, could be spent better teaching her at home. She just finished Kindergarten this spring, 2002 and will be heading to the BIG first grade in the fall.
In the not-to-distant-past, I began my own at home business. I became an Independent Representative for Watkins in October 1998. Of which I have been doing very well in the last few months!
As for my hubby Chris, he did the truck driving thing for a couple years. In July, 2000, he found a better job, and was home every night...which was nice...but after the first of the year, he went back over the road, and is currently back with the company he originally started with to begin with, Schneider. Go check his page out...link on my index!).
