a few scattered notebooks lay around the old theatre, with scattered bits of writings, excerts, and phrases
rumbling deep beneath the cemetry ground
the dead on their caskets pound
brainless skulls churn with hate
awaiting their marching date
clawing through dirt with fleshless hands
breaking out, smeling living man
the dead are coming
the dead are marching
skulls and tombstones and gravel roads
marching restlessly to their old homes
breaking wood and glass and the livings hope
eating flesh, setting fire and watching smoke
the dead will come marching and the hunger breeds
can't run can't hide can't scream
can't live can't die can't dream
no time the dead are all around
rumbling deep beneath the cemetry ground
i wrote this after watching some zombie movie
in the alley, in the shadows deep
he picks his prey as they sleep
knife in his hand, death on his mind
walking without a trace behind
steadily walking to an unheard beat
another harvest of flesh and meat
stealing there breathe as they sleep
in the alley, in his shadows deep
the mystery of the dead he keeps
waiing to show you if you when you sleep
listen and hear the silent killer creep
he's coming for you in your sleep
i like to repeat this one over and over in situations that seem strange or quiet, it has a profound imact on peoples behaviour
"well we took off like a saber jet for graceland one night/ gonna raise the king it'd be a hell of a fight/ to re-incarnate, and re-animate his mortal remains/ what good is aa king if he ain't got n brains/ as long as he can sing that song "suspicious mind"/ or the milkcow blues boogie that would be allright/", part of the Groovie ghoulies song graceland off the re-animate album, a great junk slashe horror punk band
