You decide to go try to help Elmira. After all, regulations say that's what you should do. And besides, you'd probably die of boredom if you didn't! This planet rotates differently than Earth, so fortunately it's daytime down there.
"THELMA!" you call. She appears right behind you. "Aah! ...Umm, THELMA, could you take over at helm? I've got to go down to that planet...Stardog stuff, you know."
"Certainly," she replies. "Would you like me to inform the others of your whereabouts when they wake up?"
"Yes," you say, "that sounds good."
You trot down to the landing bay, get into a Starling, and start the engine. Here goes...
