The Seattle-style grunge-rock band from Phelan, CA, Unchained has come out with their very first CD now after getting signed to Factory Nine Records. Incomplete Thoughts is the demo with 9 songs and the full-length CD with more songs and pictures and lyrics inside is coming soon. The band recorded Incomplete Thoughts in Yucaipa, CA.

The Demo is an awesome collection of Unchained's most popular songs. The song "Factory Nine," heard in concert and remembered by the catchy lyrics and guitar riffs, is the second track on the CD. The song, "Second Time Through" is next--a song to God in repentance to tell him that we need him for the "second time." "Cold" is a rock ballad about how life is so "cold" unless we have God in our lives. "Mario's Song" starts out with a quiet guitar riff with synthesizer noises in the background, then surges into loud grunge-rock with heavy distortion. It's a fun song and it rocks. It's about how we need to make sense of our lives by letting God be part of it. The songs "Last Son" and "Love Box" were recorded live and they rock. "Last Son" is about how the Son, Jesus Christ, comes into your life and gives you joy and meaning. It has an awesome drum solo toward the end that rocks. "Love Box" is about a girl that finds out that Jesus loves her with the chorus line: "Now she knows that Jesus loves her, now she knows that Jesus loves her, and that noone could ever love her more." The eighth track, "Where Everything is Wholesome," is a short musical that rocks all the way. The bonus track is "Soap Song" where a man sings about his love for soap and how it ain't never done him no harm.

What is obvious about Unchained is that they rock and they give a message of hope through Jesus Christ. Get this CD and find out for yourself.
