Building A Great Garden

I planted a few new perennials this spring. Astilbe, Bleeding heart, lilies, "clown flowers", etc. unfortunatley they aren't visible in these pictures. The shutters were a spur of the moment idea when I went "dumpster diving". An elderly gentleman had removed them from his home and set them out for the trash. Well, I'd wanted to create a "homey" feel outdoors and thought this would be an easy way to do it. I tried to place them where they'd frame the fountain from different views of our little nook. And I set a window box full of impatiens between each pair of shutters. I'm still toying with placing old window frames between the shutters (possibly with mirror in them or mirror tiles behind the empty panes...).
Soooooo......wat'cha think?!!
