Meeting For The First Time

Lance Bass woke up to the sound of his friend and groupmate Justin Timberlake whining about Apple Jacks. One day that boy is going to get his ass kicked if he keeps up with this. Lance thought miserably as he climbed out of his small bunk.

"Morning Lance," JC Chasez greeted him as he entered the lounge area.

"Hey, JC."

"Hey! What about us?" Chris Kirkpatrick's voice rang loudly through the lounge area/kitchen.

"Sorry. Good morning Chris, Joey, Justin, and JC. Better?"

"Very much, thank you."

"Uh-huh. Anyway what's on the seclude for today?"

"Dunno."

"JC?"

"We're going to the children's hospital to give those stuffed toys to the kids. And then we have sound check then later on tonight- a concert. Shouldn't we be asking you this and not the other way around?"

"Whatever. What time do we have to be ready?"

"In about," JC paused to look at his watch, "an hour."

"I'll be getting dressed."

"Oh, and Lance?" JC stopped Lance as he walked back towards the bunk area.

"Yeah?" he turned back around to face his friend.

"Remember we'll be at a hospital... you know... cute nurses... Joey... " JC hinted to his still half-awake friend.

"Yeah, I'll help keep an eye on him. And Justin too."

"Thanks."

"No problem," Lance said as he went to go get ready for the long day.

Celeste was at her locker changing into another pair of OR scrubs. She had just checked up on a little boy with a really bad case of pneumonia, and when she stood up to leave he threw up on her. She threw her scrubs into the disposable waste bag instead of putting them up so she could take them home and wash them. She was supposed to be helping Trinity get the non-contagious children into the so-called playroom. Some singers were supposed to be coming to donate toys to the hospital, and actually give the kids the stuffed toys instead of just having somebody else drop them off for them. But instead of doing that she was in pediatrics with Jana checking up on the newborn babies. They wer e talking about the new resident that Jana liked when Celeste beeper went off. She took one look it at and hit herself in the head. She took off running not even saying goodbye to Jana.

Celeste reached the 'playroom' where there were five guys walking around talking to the children and giving the toys to them. Celeste scanned the room for Jenia and saw that she was talking to a young man about the age of 16 or 17. She made her way over to the two and interrupted their conversation.

"Sorry to interrupt, but Jenia need to go to physical therpy."

"It's alright." The young blonde smiled brightly at her. Jenia groaned and the mumbled something under her breath so no one could here. Celest smiled and started pushing Jenia wheelchair out of the room. She was about half way to the door when another young blond stepped in her way. But, before she could stop she hit him.

"I'm so sorry. Are you alright?" Celeste asked quickly.

"Yeah. My fault. I should have watched where I was going," he groaned.

"I should have stopped. Really, it's my fault."

"Hate to interrupt your fighting over wether or not it's your fault, but you just pulled me away from Justin Timberlake from NSYNC to take me to therpy-- just so we can run over Lance from NSYNC..." Jenia said irratated but the trailed off in realization.

"Oh yeah, right, sorry. But she has to- to leave now. Bye. Sorry for hitting you." Celeste said as she walked away.

"Bye!" Lance shouted back.

"Oh, and by the way, Lance- her name is Celeste Moore. Just so you know... and you can stop lookin' at her like th-" Jenia shouted back at him but was cut off by Celeste when she shut the door.

Lance look at the young woman walking out of the room amazed. Celeste Moore. I need to remember that name. And with that he turned back to what he was doing.

Celeste was walking to the elevators thinking about what had just happened. Lance. Lance Bass. Lance Bass from pop boy band, NSYNC. I need to remember that. And with that last thought she walked on to the now open elevator.
