"A DIFFERENT KIND OF GIRL"

Chapter 13

FOUR MONTHS LATER.......

"Hey guys! Whatcha' up to?"

"Hey, C.J.!" the boys all called to a muscular, tan girl wearing athletic attire but in a feminine way. The boys were at Joey's house playing basketball, and C.J. was his neighbor. She casually walked over. She had known the boys for years.

"So are you guys going to take some time off for a while for touring? You have bags under your eyes you know." She commented playfully.

"Yeah, we need a break." J.C. agreed.

"Speaking of taking some time off, where have you been these past few weeks?" Joey questioned.

As much as he hated to admit it, not being around her all the time had made the feelings he had for her grow dim. The magic was gone, and he did not know how to get it back. He felt that he might as well forget about the whole ordeal.

Back in Canada, Pascal felt the same way. Having friends in different countries was just too difficult. She was constantly busy with various projects including women's movements, music hertitage lectures, and doing independent studies. But, more than anything, tragedy had reared its ugly head her way distracting her from more than just Justin. Her grandfather, Blaise, had died from a heart attack. Her world was spinning. Her family was more concerned with the family estate than her. Well, not all of her family. One of her aunts had moved to Orlando ten years ago and wanted her to come live with her and her family..............
