Epilogue

“Chris!” Chloe squealed as her fiancées pushed her back on the couch, smothering her neck and face with kisses. “You’re mother is going to be back any minute!” “She’ll be proud,” Chris said between kisses. “Chris.” With a sigh, Chris retreated. He watched Chloe try to tame her wild curls. “If I were you I’d be more worried about my shirt,” he advised.” he advised.worried about my shirt.” he advised. Chris watched as she made sure that her clothing was straight. She snuggled up to Chris’s side, kissing him on the cheek. She lay her head on his chest. “No way!” Chris howled. “You can’t go and be all sweet after you gave me the cold shoulder.” “Watch me.” Chloe wrapped her arms around him, nuzzling his neck. “Just think,” Chris marveled, “in three days we’ll be married.” “And I’ll have to put up with all your crap day and night,” Chloe teased. “But you love me for my crap,” Chris told her. “Is that why? I’ve been wondering,” Chloe said. “Now you’re going to get it!” Chris threatened. “Ooo, what are you are you going to do with me?” Chloe asked in mock horror. “I vant to suck your blood,” Chris drawled, burying his face in her throat. “Do you think we’ll be this fun when we’re married?” Chloe asked. “I hope so,” Chris answered, “or we’re gonna have to get a divorce so we can have fun again.” Chloe smiled. She nestled closer to Chris, murmuring, “I love you.” “I love you too,” he replied, seriously. It had taken hard work, but three years later they had finally decided to get married. They had been through thick and through thin, good times and bad. They knew that they would always have each other. It had all started with an accident in a crowded airport, but had ended in true love.
