" Now you know the plan right?" Justin asked frantically. Jenny would be down any minute. Justin had planned a special surprise dinner for just the two of them. She had know idea.

Everyone nodded. " Don't worry. It'll be fine." Ashley said giving Justin a pat on the back.

" I know. I just don't want anything to go wrong."

A voice from behind them said, " I didn't know you we're all waiting for me. Sorry." I said stepping out of the elevator.

" Wow. You look great!" Justin said. " Thanks," I said giving him a kiss. " You don't look so bad yourself."

After a busy day, we all had decided to go fancy this evening. The restaurant was Dee's. We had rented the top floor. In case fans we're to show up, there were strict orders not to let anyone up on the third level. We didn't want any interruptions. Its was our first real night out in a while, we wanted it to be quiet. No screaming hysteria.

Heading into the restaurant, we checked for our reservations and a waiter led us up to the third floor. Once we we're all seated, Ashley said, " Oops! I left my purse in the limo."

" I'll help you find it," Jc said. They both got up and left.

It was silent for a minute. Just waiting for Ashley and Jc to return.

" I'm going to go see if we can get some music in here." Joey said. " I'll go too." Lance said.

Before anybody else said anything Sara said," I think I'll go freshen up." " Wait for me. I'll go with you." Chris yelled and ran after her.

" Wow!!" I said. Suddenly music started to play. " Wanna dance?" Justin said holding his hand out to me. " Sure," I said. Leading me out onto the dance floor, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

" The all should be back soon."

" Well actually I don't think they'll be back for awhile."

" Oh. And why do you say that?" I said looking up into his pale blue eyes.

" Maybe them all leaving at the same time wasn't exactly a coincidence."

I smiled. " So it's just you and me?" He smiled and nodded.

He pulled me closer to him and I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. We danced, swaying softly to the music.

Seeming like hours that we had been dancing, we finally let go of each other and went and sat down. Right on time, a waiter came and took our order and then left us alone.

The room was decorated with white roses everywhere. The table was rearranged for two instead of eight. The lights were dim and candles lined the room.

" Where did the others go?" I asked.

" They're eating downstairs so we could be alone."

" This is so sweet," I leaned across the table and kissed him lightly. Wanting more, he pulled me into his lap and kissed me. His lips were soft and sweet. Pulling away, I looked at him. " I love you," I whispered. " I love you, too."

Next morning. . . .

Laying in my bed staring at the ceiling just thinking about last night. It had turned out to be wonderful. We didn't get home till late. I found that Sara and Ashley we're already asleep.

Tonight was also the concert. We had rehearsal all day.

I could hear people in the kitchen. Someone was bound to come in and wake me up soon. " I might as well go ahead and get up." I said out loud Grabbing my clothes, I headed into the bathroom.

Later. . .

It seemed like we had been rehearsing for hours. The show was but only three hours away. We working mad crazy(crunkyhehe!), trying to get everything done exact. We finally got a break.

Everyone crashed in our dressing room.

" Wow. Nice flowers." Justin said. I turned and saw a dozen white roses with one blood red rose in the middle sitting the make-up counter. " I wonder who they are from?" I walked over and read the card.

Hey baby!! Remember me?

Keep watch. I'll be around.

I knocked the flowers off the floor and threw the card across the room.

The glass vase crashed to the ground. Watered spilled every where. " What's the matter?" Justin said. I looked at Jc. " It's him." Jc looked at me confusingly. " Remember? You saved me from him." I picked the card up and gave it to him. " Will someone please tell us what's going on?" Ashley said. " After the concert the other night, I went outside with Matt because he wanted to talk to me. He threw me up against the brick wall because I didn't want to be more then friends. I thank God that Jc came out or he probably would have gotten violent. It scared the crap out of me."

" I'll kill him!" Justin said. " No. You leave him alone. There is know need to make something of nothing. Let's just leave this alone. The sooner we finish the concert the sooner will be out of here and onto another city."

We changed the subject. I tried to engage myself in the conversation as much as everyone else but that note bothered me. ::::What exactly did he mean? Did he plan on doing something before we left. He most likely knew that we would be leaving town tomorrow morning early. I just don't want anyone to think it's more then it really is. It might not be.::::

" Jen you okay?" Justin asked me. It was silent. " Jen!" I looked up, coming back to reality. " You okay?" he said again

I nodded. " Just thinking. We should get back to rehearsing." I got up and left the room. Pretty soon everyone else followed.

Sara, Ashely, and I were back to getting the routine down. We almost had it. Maybe another hour or so. I just ran into doing my three back flips. When I heard a ~snap~ from over head. I couldn't just stop so I kept going not knowing what had happen. Seconds later, an over head light came crashing down on top of me. Sara and Ashley watching in shock. I looked and saw a shadow disappearing down the ladder and backstage. My sight started to get fuzzy. I tried to move but I couldn't. " Help," I whispered but was out of breath. I looked to the side and saw Justin jump on stage and run to my side. He tried to move the light but couldn't.

" Stop," I whispered. He looked at me. " What is it?" he asked. I pointed up. " Get him. He's still up there," I whispered. Justin left my side. " Come on Jc." Jc followed him and they both ran off. I couldn't see anything else my eyes we're getting heavier and heavier. Within seconds, my body went limp.
