When I wandered into the kitchen that chilly morning the first thing I saw was mom gleaming at me from the kitchen table and drinking a cup of hot cocoa while my little bro ate dry cereal (YUCK) while giggling at the comics in the newspaper. While handing me a cup of hot cocoa mom told me thanks to the snow school is cancled. I immedialy peeked out the window. Sure enough I saw at least four inches of snow on the ground. "COOL"I wooped and made a beenline for the phone. I called Kristen who was just excicted a I was about a snow day off. She suggested we spend the whole day going ice-skating. I thought that was a grea idea!! I grabbed a muffin for breakfast and headed back to my foom to get dressed. When Kristen rung the door bell a little later I couldn't help but noticed that funny look on her face. Before I could ask whats up I saw Chris standing behind her. "Hi" Chris grinned. "I was on my way to a concert in Clevland when my car got stuck n a snow drift. Do you mind if I hang out with you for a while? I tried to keep myself from fainting or shireking with shock. Instead I said "SURE!!!!! wanna come skating with us?" We had just started plodding thew the snowwhen my little bro came huffing behind us,begging to come with us! He was bundled in a navy snow suit with maching mittens, scarfs, and a blue hat. He looked like a blueberry, in fact he look like a blueberry muffin! I wasn't sure I wanted this goof ball tagging along but Chris didn't seem to mind so I had to say okay. We had almost arrived at the rink when we spied Joey and Courtney shivering beside a car covered with snow. They explained why they were here and we asked them to go skating with us. I had a wonderful evening than I had in my whole entire life. Joe made me almost pee my pants when he tried to skate like Tara Lipinski. He ended up flailing his arms and falling knocking down my teacher, Mrs.Chadnock!!!!!!! After that Courtney, risten and I skated and gosiped together. he confessed that she liked JamesVan DerBeek!!! While we were busy bonding,Chris and Joey held blueberries hands and helped him wobble aroud the rink on his skates. It was kind of cute watching them hang out together.But my fav part is when me and Chris skated togther and he even song my fav song. We chatted and gigled and held hands the whole tim. I found out that we have lots in common! I was totally happy later that afternoon when coutney and joe got there car fixed.Then Chris toldme that his car was fixed to. I almost burt in tears! 'You know promised your lttle bro i come back and take himroller skating this summer he told me. Id be so happy if you come with us too!!! I glancd at my bro who gave me a funny look and winked at me. i grinned and winked back.
