The opening acts were Divine and Tatyana Ali. Divine was pretty good. But, I have to say Tatyana was cute and a lot better! She's like, "This is my first tour and I'm so excited!" She even turned on all of the house lights to take a pic of the audience. She did little parts of some of Will Smith's songs. It was cute! Speaking of cute, her guy dancers were HOT! I was like, 'N Sync who? Well, not quite, but anyways.... the dancers took off their wifebeaters and threw them out in the audience. Now to the 'N Sync....

Well, on the screen there's this space stuff goin' on and this alien thing that's super tall comes out and is movin' all weird. Then he comes apart and 'N Sync shows up in these bright skeleton-like black light outfits. They take out these sticks and do a STOMP (the musical) kind of thing with 'em. They do it perfect to the beat and it looks really good. (Personally, I like the old space suit thing way better) Finally they take of the skeleton things and are in these adias outfits and sing 'Here We Go'. They all introduce themselves. But the cutest thing was when Chris said, "I've got two words for you Columbus: Go Buckeyes, Go Buckeyes, Go Buckeyes!" (It was to the tune of go (name here) it's your birthday) Everyone went crazy b/c the Bucks are in the Final Four and the Buckeye fans in Columbus are crazy! I think they sung 'You've got it' next, but I'm not sure. Then I think they sung 'For the Girl...' and they had about 13 people on stage. I wasn't really mad that I wasn't there b/c the girls up there all looked like they were 10 years old (with the exception of a girl who looked about 13). Plus, 'N Sync didn't really pay much attention to them except for when they say down with them for about 40 seconds. It was cute though, b/c Chris went to sit down, he decided to get in the middle of all the girls and try to squeeze his butt in there. During this song, they pulled a backstreet boys move. They danced with chairs. But, it was different and better than the Backstreet Boys. I think they do the decades thing now. First they show a little thing on the screen about the 60s and 'N Sync comes out in red suits, playing instruments (Justin and Chris-guitar, Lance-keyboards, Joey on drums, and JC was just singing), singing 'That Thing You Do'. Then came the 70s. They came out pretty much in the outfits they wear in the UDMC video. They're wearing 'fros, except for Chris, and I didn't think Justin had one either, but I could be wrong. They sung Jackson 5 songs, 'ABC:I Want You Back' and 'The Love You Save'. And now for my fave part of the concert: the 80's! Maybe it's my fave b/c I was an 80's kid, but anyways.... the 80's thing on the screen was over and I noticed that they all were on stage but Joey. So I was like, where's Joey? Then all of a sudden Joey is on the top part of the stage decked out in a white suit with a white hat. They were singing 'Celebration' and it was sooo great. They even had all this confetti drop into the audience. The 90s were next and they sung 'Crazy For You'. Umm... next was 'I Drive Myself Crazy'. They started it off a capella, then the music faded in. All I can say is, 'ohmigod they can sing so good'! I think 'I Just Wanna Be With You' was next. Nothing really happened good during that song except for all those sexy body moves! Oh yeah... by this time they all were all just wearing basketball tommy jerseys. They all were buff, with the exception of Chris, who's arms were lookin' kinda flabby. Next was 'God Must Have Spent...' and Lance did the whole little 'there's something special about this audience, (scream)wanna know what it is? (scream) well, god (scream) must have spent a little more time on you'. You just knew he was gonna say that! They did the usual dance and then at the end, Justin decided to see if he could beat the decibel record by making everyone scream. He went, 'God Must Have Spent, A little more time...' and then stopped and made everyone scream. This whole time he had the cutest smile you would have ever seen! He kept saying, 'a little more time' and stopping about 5 more times and then Chris walks over to him and whispers somethin' in his ear. Then he finished the song. Some of my friends thought that he wasn't supposed to do it and they said the other 'N Syncers were gettin' mad, but I think he was supposed to do it, just to get the screams and to be funny. They sang 'I Want You Back' next, and it was the same way it's always been. The guys went off the stage for awhile and during this time they played the video for 'U Drive Me Crazy'. It was funny! I must say, Justin was looking mighty fine in it! Well, the guys came back out in these white jumpsuit things (and JC was wearing a white beret and it looked sooooo dumb). They sat on stools and you could tell they were hooked up to wires. They started to sing 'Sailing' and all of a sudden JC is floating in the air. Then the rest of 'em go up and they make a pyramid thing. Then they went out over the audience and stuff. It was funny b/c Joey kinda got stuck--for some reason he wasn't able to get very high at first and he was goin' really slow. It was cute when some of the guys would make it look like they were running in the air (you probably don't know what I mean). Well, they got unhooked and they sang 'Tearin' Up My Heart'. I forget if anything good happened during this. They were saying their goodbyes and sung this 'Ain't no stoppin' us now', which was really cute! They hooked back up to the wires and went back over the audience. But this time they were doin' flips and stuff. When it was time to get back on stage, somethin' messed up with Joey's wires and he fell (back on stage)! He was like being pulled on stage by Chris b/c something happened. It was sooo funny! Chris could not stop laughing!
The concert was sooo fun! It finally sunk in
after it was over how good it was! I think they should
make a video of this concert so everyone can have a
copy!
I can't begin to describe how AWESOME this show was and to be a part of the first show of the new tour is just wonderful.
My seats were pretty good. At least I think so. I was like 3 steps away from the entrance that the families and anyone associated with the guys used to get back and forth from backstage. I seen Mr. Fatone, he is such a sweet man. He has to be to deal with what he was. People were coming from the nosebleed seats just to say hi and to geta picture.
Steve (Joey's brother) is a part of the crew now. He was wearing the same blue shirt that the other crew members were wearing. I think that's cool. Oh and before I forget, I seen a couple of the girls from Innosense there. It was Veronica and the new girl (sorry don't know her name and don't care to)
The coliseum goes dark and then I seen this red flash, it's a comet on this giant big screen TV and it's going through space and I'm really entranced with it. Then I just happened to look over to my left and there's this huge glowing alien and it's dancing. The thing had to be anywhere from 15-20 feet tall and there were 5 figures dressed in black robes controlling this thing making it do dances, like the Tootsie Roll, Cabbage Patch and a lot of crazy hip hop dances. Then you see the arms separate, then piece by piece the alien separates and disappear and the guys strip off the robes revealing neon skeleton suits. They do this dance and then they go and grab neon sticks. The only ones I remember is Justin's, Lance's and Joey's. Justy's suit is neon yellow and his mask has blue hair and he uses the orange stick. I knew it was Lance because of the dancing, but his stick is blue and his suit I do believe was pink or something like that and Joey's suit waspurple and I do believe he had the red stick. Oh JC's suit was ORANGE!! That boy is taking that color to another level. After they finish with the sticks, there was this big flash of fire. I felt the heat my face. Thank god I turned my face, my contacts probably could have melted. It was that hot!!!!
They start the show with Here We Go and they are wearing Adidas track suits. In order:
Justin: He was wearing baby blue and black with a white Adidas t-shirt. I didn't notice until Regs pointed it out and I went back and looked at my pics, his ROOTS are back!!!!!! WOO HOO. and he still has the sideburns and the fro is shorter. And Mr. Timberlake was grinding ALL night. He managed to find a way to throw a bump or grind in there somewhere. *sigh* He was great.
JC: I think I'm in love!!!!!! He has it going on. He has the EW hairdo except it's like a short spiky fro. Trust me ladies, the hair is da bomb!!! And he had the shadow of a goatee going on. It was very noticeable *SIGH* That man just left me speechless. Oh did I mention that his Adidas suit was black and yellow?
Joey: He was HOT! HOT! HOT! His jacket was white with red stripes and his pants were black with white stripes. Hey no one ever said he could color coordinate, but he still looked good!!
Lance: Lance was looking QUITE FINE that night. I hope it lasts. His jacket was was blue and green and he was wearing the same type of pants as Joey. Lance was over on my side of the stage ALOT. I'm glad because he was WELL WORTH looking at.
Chris: Ok, I hate the dreads, but I have to say he was looking FINE. His jacket was red or was it orange? Oh I don't know, I just knowthat he made good eye candy!!!!
After they finish HWG, JC comes out and talks before they start ForThe Girl. He said: I bet there are 2 things that you ladies want in this world, but may not have. Do you want to know what the first thing is? He said that everyone may or may not have love-the way he said that made me melt! So I'm sure you want love and the 2nd thing that you want is to be up here on this stage. So they bring out about 12 girls. And they do the little dance with the chair.
After that's done, the lights come up and the guys are in maroon jackets and black crush velvet pants with black shirts and maroon ties. JC is singing lead, Justin is playing guitar, Joey is on the drums, Lance is on keyboards and Chris is playing bass. The song was That Thing You Do and it was just unbelievable.
They finish that song and the place goes dark again. Then things about the 70's starts flashing across the screen. Afterwards, the lights come up and everyone is there except Chris. He later comes from either the top of the stage or the side of it wearing a green and pink shirt. EWWWW, it was quite ugly. Everybody except Chris is sporting the fros. The outfits were outrageous and Justin still looked like Rudy (from the cartoon Fat Albert) with the hat and all. They sang a couple Jackson 5 songs.
Now 80's here we come... Now here's where Joey comes into play. They are all decked out. Lance is wearing a gray vest and a black and gray shirt (sorry about the bad info Regs), Justin is wearing a white shirt and it looks like he's still wearing his jacket from when they did the song That Thing You Do, JC's jacket is red and Chris is just wearing a shirt (no jacket) and *drum roll please* Joey comes out wearing a black and white stripe vest over a white shirt with a trench coat on over it and a white hat. *SIGH* And he sings lead WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO. He has an awesome voice. The song was Celebration by Kool and the Gang. They rocked on that song.
Afterwards, it goes black again and they show a film about the 90's. I do believe they showed NKOTB during this film. Then a spotlight comes up and the guys come out. They are wearing leather coats over Hilfiger jerseys and from this point on until the Sailing bit, they are still in the black crushed velvet pants. Lance's is hunter green (that's a good color on him), Justin's is: what else???? (do I even have to tell you?), JC's is navy blue, Joey's is white and Chris' is black. The song is Crazy For You. They rocked.
The next song was I Drive Myself Crazy. Sorry, but I don't remember much about this except that Lance, JC and Justin were just gorgeous!!!! Oh, they talked before doing the song and Justin was laid out on the stairs like he was posing for PlayGirl or something. It was VERY sexy!!!
They did I Just Wanna Be With You next. They came out of the jackets and they were all looking muscular. I couldn't really see Chris, so I'm not sure what he was looking like.
Lance, Lance, Lance. What can I say about him? His voice just drives me wild. He talked before doing God Must Have Spent... He didn't even have to open his mouth, he generated screams just by being on the stage. But once he did open his mouth, there was an earth shattering scream all through out the coliseum. I was surprised that the poor thing was able to say anything. It was crazy. The other guys had went back stage while Lance was talking and after he finished, they came back out and JC brought Lance's jacket from backstage. They perform the song, but just when you thought it was over, Mr. I NEED ATTENTION Timberlake took it a little further. He has such an amazing and beautiful voice.
Next song: IWYB. They were lined up at the top of the stage under the Big screen and I think that some fire flashed and then the lights come up and they were wearing different shirts. Really cute. Had something like a flame on it. Justin was in the middle of course. Him, Lance and Joey were wearing the same shirt and JC and Chris were wearing the same shirt. They rocked on that song.
After that, there was kind of like a little intermission and during that time the played the video for UDMC!!!!! That video is so hilarious. You will have to see that one for yourself.
I just remembered something. They did You Got It, but I don't remember what order it was in. Because my poor Lancey was going up the ramp and just happen to look over and seen the rest of the guys in the middle of the stage. JC gave him this funky look and started laughing at him. It was funny.
After the video, there's silence for a couple of minutes and then you hear the music for Sailing starting up. The lights slowly come up and there are the guys sitting on stools wearing something sort of like a jogging suit (white) and the shirts are blue. Y'all know that hat that JC wears on LoveLine? Well, he's wearing a white one during this song. After about a minute you catch on and see the wires and for those that were staring at the ceiling might have already known that they were going to fly. Even knowing, it was still AMAZING when you actually seen them go up. First JC goes up, then Justin and Chris and then Joey and Lance. It's like the 2 side of a triangle. It's really pretty.
Well JC goes out first and the other guys are just there in mid-air. Chris looked really uncomfortable when they first went up, but he relaxed after a while. So then Chris and Justin goes out followed by Lance and Joey. While this is going on, the people controlling their wires are slowly lowering them towards the crowd. They all go out, finish the song and then come back to the stage.
The next song is TUMH and for some reason, that song generated the most screams of the night. Probably because they thought it was over. But it wasn't. Afterwards, they guys hooked back up to the wires. All of them except Lance. I think he was having a semi-bad day because his wires got crossed and it took the roadie a sec to untangle them. Poor Lance turned 3 shades of red and had this "hurry the heck up" look on his face. It was kind of cute.
So once they are all hooked up, they are singing "Ain't No Stopping Us Now (hint: the name of the tour:o) They are above us for about 5 minutes just acting like crazy fools and then finally they make it back to the stage. They grab hands and take a bow. They each would go to a different part of the stage and wave bye to us. Justin didn't. He blew us kisses. It was just mind blowing.
