Chapter 1

The tightly clustered buldings of New York City gleamed in the bright sunlight From the window of the plane Prince William could make out the Statue of Liberty, her torch blazing almost as brightly as the sun.

"Its beautiful, isn't it?",Zara Phillips asked her younger cousin

"Yes,its lovely",William replied.

"I suppose you're happy to be here?"Zara asked.

"Yes, I am. The press is MUCH less aggressive in the United States. I'll miss England though",William addmitted

"I know, but I think you will find it much more peaceful at Harvard than at Cambridge. As long as the British newspapers don't send their photographers, the press here should pretty much leave you alone." Zara replied matter-of-factly."This tour should help you settle in and even after that we'll be here for the first week of your school year."

"Yeah, and ofcourse I can call you whenever I want, event if it is the middle of the night", William added teasingly. His decision to go to Harvard was one that his late mother, Princess Diana, would have strongly supported but one that his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II opposed. Had it not been for his dad,Prince Charles, William would not have been able to go to a university in the US. But Prince Charles had insisted that both his sons be allowed to go to ANY university they wanted no matter WHERE it was. William could still remember the endless arguments his father and grandmother had had.

"I can't wait untill we get to Nigra Falls! It's so beautiful!"Zara exclaimed pulling William out of his thoughts.

"Yeah, I want to go to Nigra too. I remember when Harry and I went with Mummy......",William tried to keep the pain out of his voice at the mention of his beloved mother.

Zara sighed. Almost everything about the United States reminds him of Princess Diana, she thought. She leaned back in her seat and waited for the plane to land.

MEANWHILE IN NEW YORK CITY...

Prince Harry sighed as he steped out of the limo behind his father. A large crowed of screaming girls stood outside their hotel, clutching flowers and teddy bears. Why do I have to greet them when they're here for Willam? Harry thought. Ofcourse he knew the answer: Duty.

Suddenly a group of girls started chanting,"Harry!! Harry!!!!! We love you!!!!!" Harry stood there a bit shocked. Are they calling ME?!?! he asked himself. Most of the time girls cheered for his older brother, almost never for him.

"Well," asked Prince Charles,"aren't you going to go greet them?" With a deep breath Harry put on his best smile and started towards his group of admirers.

AT NIAGRA FALLS. ABOARD THE MAID OF THE MIST.......

Zara held the rail tightly as the boat lurched below her. They had just entered the Horseshoe Falls and were now surrounded on three sides by water. The mist was so thick that the falls were barely visiable. Zara felt a thrill of excitement as the boat drew even closer to the falls. She turned to William to share her excitement, but he was staring straight ahead, lost in his own thoughts.

FIRST DAY AT HARVARD UNIVERSITY.........

William stared nervously out of the tainted window of the limo. Throughout the entire tour girls had shown up to see him, even at Nigra Falls. Now a group of screaming girls were gathered outside Harvard University.

"They never leave you alone do they?" his body guard asked.

"No, they don't. I was hopeing they won't be here." William replied

"Well, they showed up at Eton, so why not here?" William sighed as he stepped out of the limo to greet his admirers.

INSIDE HARVARD, JUST BEFORE LUNCH......

William stared at the man in front of the classroom, trying to concentrate on what he was saying. Suddenly, the fire alram went off.

"Oh, great!" the teacher shouted,"Another drill! Nobody leave!"

Almost immeadiately the intercom came on the voice shouting:EVERYONE OUT!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!!!

In an instant the entire university was in choas, as students and teachers rushed for the door. William lost sight of his body guards and was lookin for them when he felt some one jab something hard in his back.

"Follow me and don't make a sound!!" said a harsh voice. Relizing that the object was a gun, William did as he was told and followed the man out of the building.

Nobody noticed that the Prince was missing. Not untill an hour later when his tracking device was found in the boys locker room, with no sign of Prince William.
