Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter
Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter
Jedi Starfighter has got to be one of my favorite games for the PS2. When I saw the Jedi Starfighter in Episode 2, I just had to get this game. I've beaten the game I don't know how many times and still play it in co-op and multiplayer matches, this game is great. If I were to compare the game to anything I would say that this is Rogue Sqaudron on the PS2 cause that's what it feels like, you get awesome controls and a lot of the time really feel like your flying. You get this excellent command system where you can send your wingman out to attack one target or protect another. Another great feature is the fact that you can watch the ground and see clone troopers get into fire fights with Battle Droids. Of course the main reason to get this game is force powers, the ship has a total of 4 force powers(shield, lightning, reflects, and shockwave) and half the fun is just figuring out which one is the best to use. In the game you get to play as two characters Jedi Knight Adi Gallia, who for those who've played Jedi Power Battles on either the PSOne or Dreamcast will remember here as the female jedi and the space pirate Nym who makes his return from the first Starfighter game, but of course you can unlock and fly an X-wing or other starfighters in the game. The story runs along side Episode 2 where you end up fighting on Geonosis even though you don't run into Obi-Wan or Anakin, but even though this is still an incredible game and a must have for any Star Wars fan.
Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter gets a 4 out of 5.
