My Collection

Welcome!
This page will someday show the bulk of my custom, resin, plastic, and china collection. For now, photos that I have are posted and I'll try to get more up when they are available. I collect mostly customs and resins as of now but do love Pour Horses and have an affinity for Peter Stone Artisan's Hall Models, Peter Stone Ponies, and certain OF Breyers.

Please click on the link to view photos of the models if they are not shown on the page.

Customs

Jemez Heartbreaker

Breyer Kelso RRH by Lynn Fraley with tons of detail and the most adorable face! Twitchy upper lip with lots of little bumps, gorgeous muscling, and an exquisite braided mane and tail! NAN Qualified at almost every show I've taken him to.

Jemez Wizard Lark

Northlight New Forest Pony with some facial resculpting by Lynn Fraley, painted a lucious dapple bay by Karen Gerhardt. Adorable! Lots of Lynn's little details like eye wrinkles and lip bumps. NAN qualified many times over in halter and once in performance, a few live show reserve championships.

L'Empire Des Lumieres

A Breyer SM QH painted by Lesli Kathman in 2000 to a gorgeous chestnut splash overo. His name is French and comes from a Rene Magritte painting. English translation is The Dominion of Light. Has a few NAN cards.

Dazzle - Breyer Classic Warmblood remade by Sarah Minkiewicz. All the details Sarah is famous for, eye wrinkles, amazingly realistic carved ears, veining, neck wrinkles, lip wrinkles, and that pooked upper lip! Painted a gorgeous chestnut sabino by Lynn Fraley with blue eye and a metallic sheen. Hair by Lynn as well. Several NAN cards in halter and one in performance, Reserve Champion Sporthorse at SandCreek Winterfest Live.
Cup Crazy

Cup Crazy is the HR Mini Mule repainted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig to a dappled dun sabino mule jenny. This girl is so incredibly detailed, tons of mapping, blue eyes, and tons of regular and reverse dapples. She has four NAN cards, three Longear/Exotic division championships, and one overall Grand Champion.

Vezina

Vezina is a HR Mini Drafter repainted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig (1993) to a dappled bay sabino. His name comes from the Vezina trophy which is given to the NHL goalie voted best overall at the end of the season. I'm thinking if I get any more Minkiewicz minis (hopefully I will!) they'll get hockey names as well, I like the trend. Won the CM Clydesdale class and the CM Draft Championship at Sandcreek WinterFest Live and was Overall Reserve Grand Champion of the CM Division. If I can get one more hockey-named Minkiewicz-Breunig CM that wins a championship I'll have the hat trick.

Jemez Nikolai

Border Fine Arts Welsh Cob repainted by Lynn Fraley to a golden chestnut splash overo. NAN Qualified and Champion CM Pony at SandCreek Winterfest Live in 2002.

Zinovia

Pour Horse "Worth the Wait" Custom glazed by Lynn Raftis to an amazingly detailed appaloosa pattern. Shown as a Colorado Ranger Mare. NAN Qualified at her first show and was named Reserve Champion CM Stock Breed. Thanks to Pauline Entin for the great trade!

Long Island Hot Spot

This guy came to me as an OF Northlight New Forest Pony with a broken leg and a chipped ear. I fixed him up and painted him to this loud blue roan semi-leopard appaloosa gelding. I show him as a British Spotted Pony and he won his class and was Reserve Champion CM Pony at March Maddness Live 2002.

April Ridge

SM Seabiscuilt RR by Tom Bainbridge to a bay overo paint mare. Head is turned left. Photo and live shows well for me.

D's Never Been Kissed Breyer SM ASB Repainted by DeeAnn Kjelshus to a chestnut tobiano pinto. NAN Qualifies at almost every show even after four years, even against those big gorgeous saddlebred resins. Also a Live Show reserve champion.
Power Play

Northlight Clydesdale repainted to a dramatically shaded bay by Karen Gerheardt. Photo coming soon. NAN Qualified.

Everything Is Everything

Micro Mini Stock Horse painted a palomino by Laurel Steinert, NAN Qualified. Photo coming soon.

RESINS

Artificial Chaos

D'Arry Jone Frank's "Espresso" resin painted by D'Arry to a bay tobiano with light dappling. NAN qualified for me, he even beat one of the pony resins D'Arry did for the NAN auction in 2001. Photo show champion, multiple NAN cards, Reserve Champion Sport Breed at Giddy Up Live.

Snapdaron

D'Arry Jone Frank's "Spyder" resin with a resculpted tail painted a lucious dappled grey pinto with rose hues. He was 2nd in Other breeds at GLC in a class of over 70 horses and 1st in his mini Hunter/Jumper class. Since that first show he has won many more NAN cards.

Northern Exposure

Kristina Lucas Galatea resin painted by Melanie Miller with gender details to a chestnut spanish mustang. My baby! A portriat model of my real gelding (well my horse is actually a Thoroughbred but he and this resin have the exact same head), and he's so perfect! Several NAN qualifiactions for me as an Appendix QH in the early days and now many more as a Spanish Mustang.

Rhiannon

Lesli Kathman SM TWH resin "Southern Belle" repainted by Wendy Galbreth to a dappled chocolate brown.

Ray Of Light

Chaney Hackney pony painted a gorgeous bay by Katherine Marsh. Purchased at the Wild Oats Live auction. A NAN Top 10 in 1999 and winner of her class every single time I've shown her, even in a 70+ horse class at GLC filled with D'Arry Jone Frank's new resins! Currently in need of leg repair so she hasn't shown in awhile.

ORIGINAL FINISH

Peter Stones
Photos coming soon!
Name Pending

Test Run Peter Stone Pony in a medium dappled grey. Painted by Ed Gonzales.

Nirvana

This guy is a test run for the 2000 SR GLC Storyteller. He was painted by D'Arry Jone Frank (who customized Snapdragon on this page) and has a larger and rounder spot pattern then the regular models as well as a slightly different coloring. I won him in the raffle at the dinner (only stuck one ticket in there, go figure!). Thanks to Sabrina Smith (who won the Palomino TR) for donating him back after her name was drawn!

Raven

Name Pending - Peter Stone Appaloosa Western Pony "Patches on my Pants."

CHINAS
Anna Karenina - Lynn Fraley's SM scale resin Laf n' Bear Smittyn in the OF bay. I had been trying to win something in Lynn's lotteries for years and finally lucked out. Anna NAN qualified for me at her first show.

Deep Six - Pour Horse Worth The Wait. NAN Qualified by winning the OF Mustang Class at Sandcreek WinterFest.

Sniglet - Pour Horse Collier. Has won many NAN cards and blue ribbons in the China/Resin Draft class, even against those gorgeous BFA drafters.

Heart to Heart - HR Mini Shetland Foal. NAN Qualified.

Regal - BreyerFest SR "Molokai"

That's most of my collection, check back for more as I'm always buying and trading.

I currently have an unpainted Whiplash resin that I am forcing myself to not paint in the hopes that I will get my name drawn in someone's CM painting lottery, I'm hoping Sheri Rhodes or Melanie Miller as I'd love him in a dappled chocolate palomino.
