i can remember all of the times we used to take walks in the park.
playing games with the wind and hiding from the dark.
i can remember getting up early each morning for our daily jog
running breath by breath through the dense fog.
i can remember tickling your heart with joy and laughter,
longing for the day of living happily ever after.
as we were crossing the road on a cool spring day,
there was an oncoming vehicle heading our way.
without any hesitation, i dashed to the other side.
suddenly tears of sorrow strangled my pride.
in a moment of despair, i got down on my knees.
being without is like a forest without trees.
i prayed that you would utter just one single word.
i placed my head on your chest, nothing was heard.
my life will never regain its worth.
you were my only true friend, you were my "heaven and earth"
