Baked Burritos
Ingredients
- 1-1 1/2 lbs. Ground Beef
- 1 pkg. Taco Seasoning (any kind'll do)
- 1 can Refried Beans
- 4-6 oz. Shredded Cheese (cheddar, colby-jack, whatever)
- 1 large onion - chopped
- 2 large tomatoes (or 6 Roma Tomatoes) - chopped
- 1 Pepper (any color or flavor) - chopped
- 1 pkg. of 10 (or so) flour tortillas
- 8 oz. Pace Picante Sauce
Preheat oven to 400°
Brown and drain ground beef.
Add seasoning mix as
directions indicate.
Heat refried beans.
To Prepare:
Place torilla in hand.
Spread refried beans on
tort like you were painting it!
Spoon ground beef
into bean smeared tort.
Add hardy helping of
cheese, onions, tomatoes, peppers.
Fold tort over
itself like you were rolling a rolling pin (or maybe
a joint?*S*)
Use a toothpick to secure
fold.
Place burrito in non stick baking pan - 11
by 13.
After you have filled the pan with about 6
burritos (or so), place in oven to heat until cheese
melts - about 10 minutes.
Pour Picante sauce over
burritos and serve with Nacho chips!
Makes
approximately 6-8 depending on size of
burritos
