This is John Starks, my favorite basketball player. He entered the NBA in 1988 and was a member of the Golden State Warriors until 1989. He then signed with the New York Knicks and played there from 1990-1998. After the end of the 1998 season, he was involved in a blockbuster trade that sent him and two other players back to the Golden State Warriors for superstar Latrell Spreewell. He quickly gained popularity in California and is now considered one of the team's most valuable players.
