Ok--people, let's think about this for a minute. It seems like EVERYONE in the KNOWN universe has talked to someone who's said they were a member of N SYNC, BSB, 5ive, 98*...blah blah blah. SO you're probably thinking "How do I know if it's really them?" well, here's how to know that they AREN'T:

*the FULL name of the person you are talking to is in their profile (eg. Nickolas Carter). Cuz, like, you KNOW they want every screaming fan in the known universe to have their screen name.

*Under "Occupation", they have name of the group. After all, the Backstreet Boys REALLY wouldn't want a few minutes of privacy in real life, would they?

*their screen name is related to their name. Yeah, I'm SO sure Brian's name is going to be something like "BROK25"(Just pulled that name out of the air..sorry if it was anyone's sn!!).

*They know useless facts, because the BSB really know each member's favorite color, video game, and birthday (as demonstrated by the MYV interview.)

*They ACTUALLY say they're that member. Uh-huh. Think about it: if you're bombarded by little pests (fans--c'mon ya know we have to get annoying) all day..do you WANT someone to know who you are when they dont have to?

*They're online during a live interview on TV.

Ok people, do you see my point yet? There are only SO many of them, and about two trillion posers. SO IT'S PROBABLY NOT THEM! DON'T GET YOUR PANTIES IN AN UPROAR! And even if it is them..SO WHAT?!! They're just people, ok?
