Horses

As well as rabbits my horses have a large part of my life. I currently own two. They are both Quarter Horses. Tina is my show horse. Her registered name is Bay Tina Lee. We show in numerous events. I mainly show in 4-H and open shows. I have show in a couple AQHA approved shows and earning points in Horsemanship and showmanship.

My other horse is Star. Her registered name is Whammy's Buttercup. She is 5 years old. I got her as a weanling for christmas. I have big plans for her when I get out of college. I want to do western riding and trail on her. and eventally breed her.

My brother who is Corey Thomas has helped me train her. She is doing very well and will kind of be on "break" these next few years. I do plan on going to shows over the summer, when I am not going to rabbit shows. My dream is to someday on a horse Out of Investment Asset. I think her is a great horse and his offspring have been great western pleasure horses. I would like to thank Tommy Sheets for helping me out with my horses. With out he Tina and I would not have achieved as much as we have.

This is Gidget, She is a miniture horse that we raised. She is now a yearling and thinks she is queen of the place. She loves Tina and Star and has become their little shadow. HEr favorite things to do is chase the cats and chickens and mess with Billy(the goat).

IN MEMORY OF
Sheza Diamond Rio

"Rio was the best little baby I have till this day have had the chance to be with. She was a gorgeoous bay filly. She had the best qualities you could possibly want in a horse. She had her mom's, Tina's, disposition and her dad's looks and confirmation. Even though I only had her a short time I will never forget her. She made a giantic impact on my life. I was able to take her to state fair and show her in the weanling mares class. She was the only filly there who was not weaned and she placed 4th. We were told by several breeders and trainers if she would have had a few more months on her she could have easily, won or gotten second. When was time to wean her we sent her to a good friend, to be weaned with another filly and also start getting fitted to show in halter classes. The fillies immediately became very close. They would go everywhere together. One morning Rio coliced and there was nothing the vet could do to help her. She died and with the other baby sanding right beside her. I was devestated. Rio will be greatly missed.
