Easy Shrimp Spread by Laurie in CA : from the IE
Ingredients: Directions:
one lg. block cream cheese
1 can tiny shrimp
1 jar chili sauce or salsa
triscuits, wheat crackers or any snack cracker
Put block of cream cheese on plate
drain shrimp and put on top of cream cheese,
pour chili/salsa sauce over all.
Guests cut through the mix and spread on crackers.
Couldn't be easier!

A nice variation is with drained, canned crab meat - kathi

Ingredients:Directions:
1 can of Crab Meat
1 jar OLD ENGLISH Cheese (5 oz) -- or use Velveeta
1 stick BUTTER
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Seasoning Salt
Several drops Hot Sauce (optional)
1 pkg ENGLISH MUFFINS
Mix ingredients in mixing bowl.
To make the mixing easier,
you may want to warm cheese
and butter in the microwave.
If warmed in the microwave
let mixture cool off in the freezer for a few minutes.
Split the English Muffins and
spread the mixture over the muffins.
Place the muffins on a tray
and place in freezer (10 mins or until frozen).
Remove muffins and cut into quarters.
The crabbies are now ready for cooking
or can be placed in ziplock bags
and saved for later.
To cook: Broil for 10-15 mins.

Let cool (if you can hold off
your guests for that long)
for several minutes and serve.

Shrimp-Stuffed Pears by Anne-Marie:from the IE
Ingredients: Directions:
1 can pear halves, drained
1 to 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, cooked
(you can cook you own or use pre-cooked)
1 small package Philadelphia cream cheese
2 scallions, chopped
1/3 cup mayonnaise
(your own or store-bought * but don’t use lite.)
Reserve some shrimp for garnish
In a bowl, mash shrimp with a fork,
add scallions.
Mix Philadelphia and mayonnaise
together and add to shrimp mash.
Garnish plates with lettuce leaves,
place one or two pear halves on top.
Cover with shrimp mixture
and garnish with one or two whole shrimp.

Mini Weiners in Sweet and Sour Sauce posted by ???: from the IE
Ingredients:Directions:
3 packs of weiners, sliced to bite size
3 jars (9 oz) yellow mustard
3 jars (12 oz) apple or currant jelly
Mix jellies in crock pot, heat and stir well,
then fold in the weiners
simmer for a couple hours,
serve in Crock pot with tooth picks
....Sounds awful, but turns out so nice!
