36 slices cocktail rye bread, toasted (bread is about 2"x2") 1/2 cup Thousand
Island Dressing 1, 8 ounce can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained very well 1/3 pound thinly sliced corned beef
roast (not the canned) 9 slices Swiss cheese, each cut into 4 squares | Put the 36 slices of bread on cookie
sheets and toast them in the oven. Arrange 9 slices of bread on paper towel-lined plate or paper plate.
Spread each slice with about 3/4 tsp Thousand Island Dressing. Add a small amount of sauerkraut and corned beef
to each slice of toast (just slightly smaller in size than the bread). Top each with 1 square of Swiss cheese.
Microwave at Power Level 7 for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes or until cheese melts, rotating plate once. Repeat process
until all 36 pieces of bread are done. |
