Vegetable Medley-??: from the Idea Exchange
Ingredients:Directions:
1 minced clove of garlic
4-6 med sized carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
1 med onion, thinly sliced or diced
2 cans french style greenbeans (drained)
Sautee` carrots, onion and garlic in a little olive oil or butter until they are tender but crisp
Mix in canned beans and heat through.

Margarita Fruit Salad -Sue of WI: A Front Porch Chef
Ingredients:Directions:
1 small cantaloupe, scooped into balls or cut into small pieces
1 small honeydew melon, scooped into balls or cut into small pieces
2 small oranges, peeled and sectioned
1 grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
1 mango, peeled and diced
2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
1/2 cup (125 ml) granulated sugar
1/3 cup (80 ml) orange juice
6 Tbs (90 ml) Tequila
6 Tbs (90 ml) orange liqueur
3 Tbs (45 ml) lime juice
1 cup (250 ml) unsweetened coconut flakes, toasted
Combine cantaloupe, melon, oranges, grapefruit, mango and strawberries and set aside.
In a small saucepan heat the sugar and orange juice over medium heat.
Stir for 3 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
Stir in tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice. Let cool.
Combine with fruit.
Refrigerate for at least two to four hours.
Just before serving sprinkle with coconut.
Serves 8 to 12.

Snicker(tm) Salad #1 -Karen of AZ: A Front Porch Chef
Ingredients: Directions:
3 med. apples, peeled and chopped
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 banana, sliced
3 Snickers candy bars, chopped
1 lg. container Cool Whip
Pecans, optional
Combine chopped apples, chopped Snickers, oranges, and pecans (optional).
Fold in Cool Whip.
Refrigerate.

Ingredients: Directions:
1 Snickers bar
3 lg. delicious apples
5 bananas
2 c. Cool Whip, more or less to taste
Chop Snickers bar in small pieces.
Add chopped apples and sliced bananas.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Refrigerate.
