Ik’kkbrithulum

Appearance and Biology: The Ik’kkbrithulum are green skinned with red markings they have yellow eyes and no mouth. They are taller than normal humans and are remarkably strong. They also have horns on their head, and sharp razor like flaps on their arms.

History and Culture: The Ik’kbrithulum (which means death harbinger in ancient Courscantel) are a species thought to be extinct for many millennium. They are shrouded by mystery and it is not even known if they ever existed. According to legend, the Ik’kkbrithulum created a space faring society centuries before any other species. It is thought they evolved on a planet in the Tapani sector, more specifically in Rena Province. However this is just speculation and there is very little to back this up. The Ik’kkbrithulum were thought to be xenophobes thinking that all other species were under them and it was their destiny to enslave the galaxy for the greater glory of the Ik’kkbrithulum. The legend is that the Ik’kkbrithulum created huge ships that were about the size of a super Star Destroyer and set off on their conquest of destruction. The legend is that they destroyed the ancient and great Herglic empire that had expanded into the Tapani sector (There are ruins on Lemura of Herglic cities) They then went on to conquer the Herglic which is why the great Herglic societies rumored to once exist faded into the mist of history. The legend ends by having the Ik’kbrithulum battle ships going to Ossus where they were beat back by legions of jedi. The Ik’kbrithulum fled into hyperspace and presumably back to the Tapani sector. They were never seen again. In the early colonization days of the Tapani sector, mothers would scare their children to sleep by saying if you don’t sleep the Ik’kkbrithulum will get you!

Technology: In their era the Ik’kkbrithulum had superior technology. Compared to today’s technology it is sightly obsolete.

GM tip: A neat adventure would be the characters find an Ik’kkbrithulum destroyer and are brought on by an automated tractor beam which wakes up the Ik’kkbrithulum that are in stasis!

Special abilities:

Mental abilities: All Ik’kkbrithulum start with this special ability at 1D and may advance it at normal. They communicate with each other and others through telepathy all Telepathy rolls for them are very easy while between themselves, and moderate when communicating to other species. The Ik’kkbrithulum have limited mind reading abilities. The difficultly is the targets willpower roll. The Ik’kkbrithulum also can cause a target to see illusions, again the difficulty is the targets willpower roll. The Ik’kkbrithulum can use a mental attack, it physically throws the opponent and causes 5D mental damage, the target uses their willpower to block the attack. The attack Can only be done two times an hour.
