Capsule: Early one when the Rebellion first got organized Emperor Palpatine realized that a speciality of rebels operatives was breaking into prisons. To help curb this problem he comissioned the building of the O/T incarceration facility. However, due to the high cost and logistic problems that arose out of them, very few were made. The ship did not have much in the way of defenses. Instead it relied on secrecy and stealth. all the O/T's sat in deep space and could only be accessed by secure jump beacons located just off of minor hyperspace routes. The ships had pre-programed jump points ready to go, so in case of an attack the prison would simply be gone before anyone could destroy or inflitrate it. The O/T facilities are spartan at best. They consist of nothing more than a bed, a toilet, and a small dispenser where food and water pellets are dropped down. While only about fifteen O/T incarceration facilities made, they were the most secure prisons in the galaxy.
