The Dead Kennedys were a great band form San Francisco that challenged the status quo and terrorized conservative thinkers for many years. Led by front man and singer Jello Biafra, the Dead Kennedys released contraversial material from the start with a name that grabbed national attention. The Dead Kennedys were probably best know for the trouble for the album art of the Frankenchrist LP, which featured H.R. Giger's "Penis Landscape XX" on the cover. They were charged with "distributing contraversial material to children" and faced a possible $2,000 fine and a year in jail. In the end the case was dismissed, but Jello and the boys were forced to release an alternate cover. I own all the Dead Kennedys Full lenght releases. Including, in my opinion the greatest release ever; Frankenchrist. Favorite Songs include:
