      Seiya is 17 years old (the perfect age for Usagi? Who knows... ^_^) and a drummer/singer for the Three Lights. He and his fellow Starlights became the Three Lights in order to broadcast their message to their missing princess, Princess Fireball (Kakayuu).

      Well, as you all probably know, the Seiya turns into a woman when he transforms. So, the usually pony-tailed, red-suited Seiya raises his henshin wand... and turns into the black-leather suited Starlight, Sailor StarFighter. (Well... it looks like black leather at least. If you thought the Earth senshi had skimpy uniforms, think again... He/she also uses one attack, Star Serious Laser, and has a second transformation- same words, different animation.

      As Sailor StarFighter he (she!) and his (her) teammates are pretty cold to the senshi & co. Constantly telling them to bug off and defend the planet themselves, they occasionally soften up (like every episode) and help out the senshi every now and then. Also, Seiya saves Sailor Moon on more than one occasion- especially after he knows her identity- and I thought it was pretty romantic. (What did Mammoru do? Ditch the senshi and leave them to fight for themselves!)

      Well... Seiya's love for Usagi eventually led to problems... the Outer Senshi's obsession with Neo-Queen Serenity and the coming of Crystal Tokyo, the Inner Senshi's jealousy of not being in Usagi's place... Seiya gets into the most trouble (physical trouble, at least!) with Uranus. Unfortunately, guess who gets the crap beaten out of her the most...

      Seiya and the other Starlights practically worship Princess Fireball (Kakayuu). Some people believe that they were (are) actually in love, but there hasn't really been a lot of evidence to support this... not yet.
