Sailor Mars
Rei Hino is the strong and determined Sailor Mars. As the Princess of Mars, her powers include those of fire. She is the second Scout to join Sailor Moon and with her powers and attitude, she is a great asset to the group. Rei lives with her Grandfather at the Hikawa Shinto Temple, training to become a Priestess. Her powers of mediation are well known and she uses them to the Scouts advantage whenever there is danger nearby. These additional powers help her ward off evil spirits during battle. Raye and Serena share the most unstable relationship. Usually, the two are constantly fighting and bickering over everything and anything that pops into their minds. But deep down inside, they really do care for each other and although they don't show as often as the others, they do defend one another when it really counts. Raye is very talented in her poetry and song writing. At school, she actively participates in organising events such as the music and fashion show seen in "Raye's Day In The Spot Light". She wrote all her own songs and performed them from the heart. One of the best songs is "Oh Starry Night" which she sang at the end of the episode. As Sailor Mars, she is determined and fights bravely against her enemies. Next to Sailor Jupiter, she is physically one of the strongest Sailor Scouts. She is loyal and protective of the Imperial Silver Crystal and the Moon Princess and would sacrifice her life for their safety. Raye can be a little rude and self centered sometimes, but she really has a kind heart. She thinks highly of herself and her abilities and does not show many weaknesses. But she still is a lovable character.
