We don't want to bore you with page upon page of information such as when we got there, where we ate lunch, what we wore, the relative humididty on that day, etc. Our reviews are short and to the point, saying who we saw and who our absolute faves were. Note: just because we didn't say someone was our favorite doesn't mean we don't think they're great, so please don't yell at us. We had to narrow it down somehow.

Other Notes: Our first time rushing! We had a lot of fun, despite the fact that we had to sit outside during the matinee and it was pouring down rain. We saw Jacqueline (Joanne) and Jake (Steve, squeegee-man) at the pizza place where we ate dinner but were too shy to say anything. Got to meet Stu, Jacqueline and Tricia after the show.

Other Notes: I spent the night outside of the Wang theatre, arriving at 11:00 PM and getting the last tickets. I went, the dork that I am, dressed as the Light My Candle Mimi, much to the disapproving stares of people on the T. (The Boston Subway). After the show, met (got autographs from) Matt, Jeremy, Dominique, Mark and Cicily. Matt told me he'd seen me in the audience; other cast members told me I "had the Mimi thing going on." Hmm.
Uh, nice signature there, Mark.

Other Notes: I camped out for 30 hours, arriving at 7 AM on Saturday. That's my record for rushing, at least so far. I still was not the first one, or even the second one, there. I purchased Matt Caplan's CD on Saturday, after listening to a friend's, and doing a Wild Chicken Dance of Enjoyment (or something). Went to the show as Mimi once again, due to my strange whims. Melissa, my roommate, went as Maureen. After the show, I recieved autographs from Shaun, Marcus, Dana, Stefanie and Karmine. Unsuccessfully tried not to gush to Matt:
Ellen: You have such a balanced Mark, I mean, I just love your portrayal of Mark, your performance is so wonderful, I mean, I just love it, I mean, I'm an English major and I can't even think of words good enough to describe how much I love it...
Matt: Thanks, thank you very much. And you, uh, have very curly hair. You've got wicked curls.
My wonderful boyfriend was rather cross that I put no mention of him up here, as he was so kind to come and rush with me for the last 15 hours or so, after a previous 15 hours of wheedling. I, however, thought he would not want to be associated with such craziness. Anyway, much thanks to him for being a nice shishin; he enjoyed the show, even if he didn't like to admit it.

Ellen and Melissa. The scary Mimi costume is fortuneately or unfortuneately not very visible. Melissa is wearing Maureen cat ears which are blending quite well with the dark background.
