Not only is garbage a great band because of Shirley's talents, but there are three great men behind the music, also. Butch Vig, the infamous Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins producer, is a key drummer and noise maker, weather it be synthesized or other, in the band. While Duke Erikson gets crazy on the guitar, bass, or keyboards, Steve Marker is heating it up with guitar and other talents. These guys make the sounds that Shirley's vocals thrive on.
