7th Heaven: Lance and Lucy Sitting In A Tree

K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!

This review won't be as thorough as it should be, because quite frankly, I only watched it to see Lance. So I'll start by saying that although Lance isn't the best actor in the world, he IS damn good. The producers of the show definitely made the right choice, 'cause Lance passed really well for a sixteen year old National Merit Scholar. Hehehe….

Anyways, when they first show Lance coming into the room and sitting on the bed so nonchalantly while his brother was on the phone, I couldn't help but smile 'cause he looked so cute. Auugghh!! Now I'm starting to sound like a teeny. Anyway, Lance talked kinda fast throughout the show. He also sounded like he was reading lines from a script at certain points, which actors should never sound like. Still, I really liked the part where Lance's character's brother Robbie is setting Lance up with Lucy… the dialogue is so cute. It went a little like this:

Robbie: We could fix your sister Lucy up with my brother Rick.

Lance (Rick): (in kind of a sing-song voice) No, you couldn't.

Mary: (from the other end of the phone) That's a great idea!

Lucy: What's a great idea?

Lance: No, you couldn't.

Robbie: Great! Rick's right here and he said he'd love to take Lucy out.

Lance: I didn’t say that.

Awww, it sounds so cute to hear Lance say that! Then, on the part where Lance and Lucy are sitting on the corner and they kiss the first time, it looked so fake and dumb. I'm like, "Booooo! Girl, kiss him again, and this time, put some SKANK on it!" ~LOL~ Then, they kissed again, and I loved how Lance SHOVED HIS TONGUE DOWN HER THROAT!!! Yeah, baby, yeah!!! Just kidding. It was an "actor's kiss", as he likes to call it. All in all, Lance shoved the cute factor through the roof with this performance, and I'm very happy I recorded this. Lance looked so young and innocent, and in a couple of scenes, kinda feminine. But what the hell, I still love this kid. On a final note, ('cause I really sound like a teenybopper in this half-assed review) my favorite line in this entire episode was when at the end, Robbie and Rick (Lance) were getting out of the car and Lance starts walking into the house. He calls over his shoulder to his brother, "Thanks for making me go on a date tonight", and Robbie goes, "No problem… stop smiling!" Lance just grins his sexy grin and chirps, "I can't", and walks into the house. God bless that young man.
