Just When You Thought It Was Safe…'NSync Is In The House!

I went out to a club on February 5th to see the Lost Boys in concert, (which by the way ROCKED, but I'll talk about that later) and had one hell of an 'NSync time. Okay, the name of the club we went to was Maxi's, which is a serious hip-hop club. It ONLY plays hip-hop and reggae. So imagine my surprise when all of a sudden, I hear the opening chords to 'NSync's "Bye Bye Bye" with a reggae beat. My mouth dropped open in surprise, and then I laughed, "Damn, no matter where I go, I can't escape these boys!" If that wasn’t enough, three guys knew ALL the dance moves to the song and executed them, including the lassoing and the little puppet-hands-on-my-hips-two step thing they do at the very beginning of the song. Hehehe… And the girls in the club were eating it up! I couldn't believe it!

Then came the Lost Boys with their sexy, Jamaica-Queens-dwelling asses. I love these guys soo much. To all of you who don't know who the Lost Boys are, they are rappers with real dreadlocks ('cause that crap Chris had on his head classified as BRAIDS, not DREADS to all you confused children.) Anyways, they sing the hit songs, "Renee", "Music Makes Me High", "Get Up", and "Me and My Crazy World". The members are: Mr. Cheeks (the almighty sexy man himself), Pretty Lou (the name alone proves how fine this cat is), and Spin Nice (who's not that cute to me but is very charismatic, which makes him kinda cute). They used to have a fourth member, Freaky Tah, but he got murdered last year, which some of you might have heard about on MTV. So anyway, they rocked the club, but I got pissed 'cause this guy was seriously kissing their asses. He was like the male version of the teenyboppers at the 'NSync concerts. He looked so gay. Fucking male groupie. So like I said, I got pissed and we all left.

Here's where the second 'NSync experience takes place. We were driving home on the interstate (by the way, earlier I got pulled over for doing 73 in a 55 speed zone and got a fine… damn cops) and I was once again speeding. (Hell, cops don't scare me!) There were these guys in another car that wanted to kick some game to us, but they were so wack that we clowned them and drove off. About two miles later, we realized that they were following us. They were pulling up on us again just as "Bye Bye Bye" came on the radio, and I pulled a JC, i.e. I cranked up the music, nodded to my sister-in-law, and then sped off as the song was playing. The entire time I was pulling 85 on the interstate, I couldn't help but think of JC and Lance in their car driving away from the girl, weaving all in and out of traffic and stuff, which was exactly what I was doing. Then, I got about a mile and a half away from the other car and quickly jumped off the interstate. When we reached the light at the end of the off ramp, we looked behind us and saw the car passing the off ramp, still looking for us. We then turned off and sped off once again just 'NSync sang the last "Bye bye!" Hehehe… almost better than the video, huh?
