If all the lazy folks would 'Get Up', and all the sleepy folks would 'Wake Up'.

If all the dishonest folks would 'Fess Up', and all the angry folks would 'Make Up'.

If all the depressed folks would 'Look Up', and all the sour folks would 'Sweeten Up'.

If all the discouraged folks would 'Cheer Up', and all the gossiping folks would 'Hush Up'.

If all the lukewarm folks would 'Fire Up', and all the dry bones folks would 'Shake Up'.

If all the absent folks would 'Show Up', and all the professing folks would 'Live Up'.

If all the promising folks would 'Pay Up', and all the true soldiers would 'Stand Up'.

Then We Would Have a Better Church...

So we are going to:
  • Get Up,
  • Wake Up,
  • Fess Up,
  • Make Up,
  • Look Up,
  • Sweeten Up,
  • Cheer Up,
  • Hush Up,
  • Fire Up,
  • Shake Up,
  • Show Up,
  • Live Up,
  • Pay Up, and
  • Stand Up.
