We have to have blood to live, yet Jesus shed his blood and died so we may live through his blood and have eternal life. It was a painful death, yet he did this for you and me. Would you go through the agony? All he wants is for people to except him as their savior, its not a selfish act. In the long run isn't it a comfort to know you'll live forever with Jesus after you die? The most painful thing that could happen to me, happened last year, my mother died. The pain from missing her will never go away, but it comforts me to know I have hope to see her again someday and until then I have the best friend anyone could ever have ...Jesus Christ. |
