Terriffic Toys


Here are some great toys that are easy to make for your hamster.

Tunnel


 A tunnel is about the easiest thing to make for us, and we get TONS of enjoyment out of it. All you need to use is an empty paper towel/toilet paper roll. You can tape more and more tubes end-to-end to make it longer. We will not only get the enjoyment out of crawling in and out of it, but will nibble on the ends and put the chewed up cardboard in our nests.

See-Saw


 Just make a 12" tunnel and put it over a triangular shaped block of wood.

Hamster Hangout


 These are PERFECT for a pregnant mother, or just the regular hamster to have fun in. You need a medium-sized cardboard box and a strip of cardboard. Cut a doorway (about 3" wide and 4" tall) into on sidee of the box. You can put anything you want inside them to entertain us. Then cut strips of cardboard about 2" high that fit all the way around the top. Leave a 2" gap on one side. Then, make a 2" ramp to fit into the gap.

Playground


 You can make slides out of tubes, ladders from cardboard, a swing from a spool of thread with a string going through it, and a Hamster hangout. Combine all these in different patterens and numbers to make a hamster wonderland.
