The Indiana Asatru Council had their Winter Finding Blot today at Spades Park. There were 24 people in attendence, including visitors from Evansville and Logansport. Apples ,wheat crackers, and mead were served. CL started the Blot with the calling of Thor to honor us with his presence! We moved into hammer warding,then to the blessing , and passing of the horn! CL and Dag gave a wonderful "talk" about community, standing up for what is right,and staying courageous and not running away from the good "fight" . When the Blot ended we all laid our apple cores on the tree stump where we left our blessing to the landvaetter. We also did a rune casting to see if the gods and goddesses accepted our blessings ,three of us interpreted the casting, all as favorable.
