18 and 20 (depends on model) gauge carbon steel construction with two nickel plated layers with a third chrome layer for corrosion resistance.
Two stage stainless steel baffle increases performance and keeps noise level to 92 db on most models.
Cons-
They worry too much about noise reduction when they should focus on hp gains
Could be a lil bit louder
Not compatiable to a full system upgrade
It took them awhile to come out with a slip-on for the yzf r6
