1. Exit all applications and right click anywhere on the desktop. |
A pop-up menu will appear. |
2. Choose Properties from the pop-up menu. |
The Display Properties window will appear. |
3. Click the Settings tab. |
The Settings options will appear in the window. |
4. In the Desktop Area, move the slider bar until screen resolution is set to 800 by 600 pixels, then click OK. |
Windows will display an OK/Cancel message box. |
5. Click OK. |
In a few seconds, Windows will resize your screen and display another OK/Cancel message box. |
6. Click OK. (Note: Windows will revert to your original settings if you do not respond to this message box within 10
seconds.) |
Your screen resolution is now set to 800x600. (Note: After the change, everything on the screen will appear somewhat
smaller.) |
