September 1st, 1998 President and CEO Bill Kennedy buys Powerhouse Championship Wrestling. The Wealthy Businessman from Canada who has ties with the politically well known Kennedy family purchased the Illinois based independent as ofSeptember 1st, 1998. Kennedy has vowed to make NWWA/PCW one of the largest independents operating today. Kennedy has opened a second training school in LaSalle, IL. September 15th, 1998 NWWA/PCW wrestlers are negotiating with Ventura Productions on doing cameo appearances in their upcoming series and 90 minute HBO production. The project may include famous bodybuilder Lou Ferigno, "The Incredible Hulk", along with the NWWA/PCW superstars that will be based on family and inner youth programs. Stay tuned.

October 31st, 1998 President and CEO Bill Kennedy announced at the TV tapings at the NWWA Hardcore School that he has signed the following Superstars: The Honky Tonk Man, Jimmy Valiant, and The Bushwackers. Look for them on upcoming cards!!!!!!!!

 

American League Umpire in the NWWA ?? Larry Young, American League Umpire who made a guest referee in a match between Hott Stuff Rod Bell and Prime Time, is rated number 22 out of all umpires in Major League according to March 30th USA Todays Gallop Poll of Players and Managers. Congratulations Larry Young and continued success in one of the toughest professions in the world.

 

NWWA/PCW Wrestlers branch out. Several NWWA/PCW wrestlers have been wrestling in other federations around North America. They have been triumphed in their debuts in NWA-Indianapolis, Insane Championship Wrestling, and WWA. These wrestlers have been traveling throughout each week include, The Universal Bombers, Devon Fury, JT Sexxy, Hott Stuff Rod Bell, Rex Hart, Jackknife, Kenny, Big Chuckie Smoothe, and Bane. NWWA training school has an excellent reputation of superior training throughout the INDY circuit. When you call your relatives in other towns, see if NWWA superstars are wrestling in their area and invite them to check them out. NWWA is a symbol of excellence!!

 

Morning DJ to wrestle for the NWWA ?? Wawassee 103.5 Morning DJ Splash Lucas has signed on the dotted line for several upcoming NWWA/PCW Championship Matches coming up. The first, was announced at Mayhem in Milford as a packed house saw The Luv Machine and Hott Stuff Rod Bell humiliate him by slamming him and putting him in the "Camel Clutch". Since then, Lucas announced on the air that he has been training for his upcoming debut May 1, in Mishawka, IN. Lucas, who is one of the top Morning DJ's in the Midwest, has been seen training at the NWWA Hardcore Training Gym with his partner for May 1, Bedrock Brawler. There should be some excitement, May 1, in Mishawaka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
