Which Popular Christmas Tunes Are Most Reverent?

Every Christmas Season, we always hear a wide variety of popular Christmas tunes on the radio and in the malls where we do our gift shopping. I have come to understand that basically all of today's popular Christmas tunes fall into one of the following four categories:

(1) First, there are the sacred songs that deal with the true meaning of Christmas--the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Silent Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, O Holy Night, What Child Is This, Joy to the World, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Little Drummer Boy, Away in a Manger, O Come O Come Emmanuel, O Little Town of Bethlehem, We Three Kings, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Go Tell it on the Mountain, Do You Hear What I Hear, Hark The Herald Angels Sing, and O Come All Ye Faithful are songs that fall under this category.

(2) There are the Santa Claus songs that tend to get Christian children sidetracked from Christ.
Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Here Comes Santa Claus, Up on the Housetop, The Night Before Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, Santa Baby, and Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer are songs that fall under this category.

(3) There are (what I call) the Christmas-in-genral songs that do not mention either Jesus Christ or Santa Claus.
White Christmas, Deck the Halls, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, O Christmas Tree, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, The Twelve Days of Christmas, Silver Bells, Here we Come a-Caroling, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, I'll Be Home for Christmas, Feliz Navidad, and It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas are songs that fall under this category.

(4) Finally there are the snow season songs that merely pertain to snow and winter, and make no mention of Christmas in any regard.
Jingle Bells, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland, Frosty the Snowman, Jingle Bell Rock, Let it Snow, and Over the River and Through the Woods are songs that fall under this category.

It goes without saying that the songs under the "sacred" category are most reverent. The "Christmas-in-general" songs and the "snow season" songs are innocent and pleasant to sing in moderation, but I caution against over-exposure to the Santa Claus songs (albeit without any legalistic condemnation).
