What are his intentions?

This black cat must've come to Earth with a reason of some sort, so I have proposed a couple of theories as to why he has come here. You can feel free to email me some of your ideas about why he has come here as well.

• He wants to spread his massive intelligence throughout the world.
• He wants to slowly build an empire that is capable of building death machines and take over the earth.
• He wants to see Dr. Briefs in the future.
• He wants to destroy the Earth and all of its inhabitants.
• He just wants to be that one mysterious figure in history that is the cause of a lot of major events in history (you know, kinda like the Forrest Gump of DBZ)
• He wants to kill the current Kami and takeover in his place.
• (sent in from Pmaster152@aol.com) I believe that TBCODBS is actually the true God of the DBZ universe.  The Egyptians recognized this, and worshipped him as a God. My theory is that he is just staying on Dr. Briefs shoulder to get a better idea of what is going on in the world he has created, he can see what is going on from watching like Kami does, but he wants to really get a feel for it.  So he sits on Dr. Briefs' shoulder and takes it all in.
• (sent in from Tufty X email withdrawn at request) I believe that he came to Earth looking for a bride but found that all the cats were far too thick to be able to fit in on his world. In his search for the intellegent cat he met Dr. Briefs and decided that he could be of use to him. Together they struggled to make a machine that would, once the right one was found, increase any cat's intellgence that he chose. Unfortunatly during this time, Dr. Briefs had Bulma, and she was intellegent, beautiful and had attitude, exactly what TBCODBS was looking for. He is now waiting on Earth for the right moment to confess his undying love for Bulma.
• (sent in from MaxWalrus@aol.com) I believe that his mission is purely reconnaissance. He was sent merely to investigate, to see if humans were ready for faster than light travel and trade and interact with other beings througout the galaxy.
• (sent in from SmeePupp13@aol.com) Scratch really is the strongest fighter in the universe. He surpasses gokou like it was nothing. His intellect is far greater than anyone could fathom, though he keeps that on the Down Lo'. Figured out all of the galaxy's problems, he has, but he doesn't want to draw attention to himself. Scratch wants people to think he's just a black cat that sits on Dr. Briefs's shoulder. If he did show his true skill, arrogant people, like Yamcha, would try to exploit him.
• (sent in from TwinSwordArtist1@aol.com) I believe that it is not just something that gives ideas. My theory is it is a parasite that takes over the minds and bodies of what it attaches to. It wants to reproduce, but in order for it to reproduce it must use a human body and send it's spores into the newborn child, as well as the mother. That is why it lets the perverted ideas happen.
• (sent in from erik_hill) I think that Tama-Sama is on Earth because he found his perfect toys. He uses the Z-warriors to fight, they get all their power from him, and they dont know it. It started off small and boring, so he creates bigger and bigger villians for them to fight, and makes everything put on the line, and they just barely win. It's like a movie for him to watch, and even somewhat exciting to see what the "fools" will do with their power, and all the special moves they do and such.
• (sent in from Silver_Poo_Poo@zanesvilleohio.net) I think the little black cat just likes the smell of Dr. Briefs's hair shampoo (it's probably one of those dandriff preventers or some good quality stuff). That is why he always is on his shoulder, he's just trying to sniff it. You know how cats just love new smells. He also likes gadgets, little gears, and moving stuff so thats why he always helps Dr. Briefs work on things. He doesn't really do much, just watches. My cats are like that too. Whenever I do stuff or work on things they just sit there motionless and watch. Oh well, I guess thats just another theory and we will never really know.
• (sent in from Candeis@webtv.com) I think the black cat is to the DBZ universe as the Watcher is to the Marvel universe.  He's there to watch events happen.  He doesn't interfere because that would break some understood code of his people. As to why he sits on Dr. Briefs' shoulder....well, maybe he just likes the guy.
• (sent in from abc123@shentel.net) I believe that this cat is not an alien, but a genetically engineered being produced by Doctor Gero from cells of Karin, Puar, and my cat Fubu. Look at the stats: He's able to cling to Dr. Briefs's shoulder no matter what and he seems to shift forms after Android #16 dies. You see, after being put on #16's shoulder he steals #16's energy and becomes Semi-Perfect Scratch. However, he needs to absorb Karin, Puar, and Dr. Briefs to become Perfect Scratch.

I have no idea what his true intentions are. I don't think that anyone does. It will probably never be revealed to the loyal DBZ fans outside of the infamous "Toriyama Circle" (TM). I can only speculate as to why he is here. I don't think Shenlon himself knows what his intentions are... you know maybe if I email toriyama.org everyday asking for info on the black cat, they'll take the "TBCODBS-File" out of Akira Toriyama's Sacred Vault of DBZ Secrets(TM).
