1.Influence You've gotta start off with a lot of influence to make a basic deck work. 2 'Fancy Dans' and a 'Marketeers' may seem over excessive in other decks, but will fit the ticket in a Crimson Roger's deck.
2.Boarding Defense "Ha Ha 15 damage." "OK....Board." "AUUUGGGHGHHHH." Sound familiar? Without boarding defense you're toast. Cards like 'Hiding in the Reefs' and 'Last Second Cannon Volley/Escape' are all good cards, but THE best boarding defense is sailing. Remember to try to get as much sailing in your starting crew as possible.
3.Speed Up Cards Speed, a Crimson Roger player's ticket to a win. Cards like 'Cat 'O Nine Tails' and 'Black Heart' are indespensible. You may lose crew, but how many 'Fancy Dans' do you really need by turn 5?
4.Cannon Booster Cards Sure, a 4 point cannon blast from 'Reis' is nice, but wouldn't be nicer with 'Good Shots', 'Castillian Gunpowder', and the like?
5/6.Tips 5. Get 4 Crimson Roger crew on board ASAP to get Captain's bonus. You can accomplish this by adding a lot of Crimson Roger crew to your main deck. Now, your 'Fancy Dans' won't be sitting around idly anymore; they've got cannon!!! 'Fancy Dans' packin' HEAT!!! 6. Attack often and without mercy Once you've got the 4 Crimson Roger crew on board and everyone's cannon skill +1, ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!
