The 29th Annual Muncie St. Patrick Day Parade (the 2011 parade was canceled by the city) was scheduled for Saturday March 17th at 6pm. James Nixon was able to get a sponsorship from Culligan to provide a couple cases of water to distribute to the crowd and Jacob Dalton was able to secure sponsorship from Kathy Batt who was running for county council at large(she provided some candy to be thrown to the crowds).
As always there were late cancelations from members, however we were able to produce five vehicles to be shown off and to bring cheer to the City of Muncie.
If you were at the parade you would have witnessed hundreds of people in attendance as well as 50 plus groups participating. In our section we started with Roy Davis(President) and his 2002 GMC Envoy with Carissa Miller riding shotgun and Aubrey Davis in the back seat. Second in line was Jacob Dalton(member)in his 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix with Alex Dalton riding shotgun. Next we had Adam Wright(member) in his Full Size truck with is girlfriend Crystal in the truck. Due to the change of date for the parade the "Floss 'N Gloss" section lost three of its representatives however a strong number of ten vehicles were in participation to bring cheer to the City of Muncie.
