Roy, Jay, and Will(and his family) attended the competition. Roy was the only to compete for the $100 cash prize and clear glass trophy.
Ovation held the event at the Raceway Park in conjunction with the Indy Truck Bash.
The first round Roy posted the second highest score. Then it was off to the playoffs. There were plenty of competitors in each class. When a cash prize is offered...it seems as though everyone is there. So, the goal for the show...3rd place. We would be able to walk away with a trophy and feel good at pushing the competitors.
So, in the playoffs, Roy easily won, and then it was off to the quarterfinals. Another victory, so 3rd place was well within reach. The Quarterfinals netted another victory so second place was the worst place and first would net a trophy and $100. Well, after the comp. Roy walked away with $100 and a nice new trophy to add to the collection.
That brings Roy's a collection of four trophy's in the last four competitions. One second place and three first place trophies. Roy has plans to upgrade the system and results wont be known until the first comps of April 2002. But check back for updates.
