I am the Founder and President of "Floss 'N Gloss" Car Club. Being in this position and getting all of the support from other car clubs would not have even been possible if not for the other two vice-presidents, Nick Brooks and Jason Carper. They have both recruited members for the club, shown off the web page and its links, as well as attend car and audio shows.
Thanks for peepin this page. Its worth the time if your into systems. I have made many customazations to my vehicle. At first, I had to change the outside. It had a decent start. The Escort GT came with ground effects and a spoiler. So, I started simple by adding tint on the windows. Next, I wanted something to listen to other than the crappy factory system. A Pioneer 6000R with a sterring wheel remote did the job. Then, I moved to the 6X9's. I installed Pioneer 3-ways. Then progressed to the front end. I got a Kenwood door set up and used Eclipse Passive crossovers to distribute the sound properly. After all the high's were set up. I had to move to the deep bass area. At first, I used two JL Audio 12" series one subs hooked up to a used amp. That wasn't sufficient to my ears. The subs are now sitting in my room as your reading this. So, I turned to my car audio club and purchased a Cerwin Vega-Vega Series 15" and got a Q-Logic box for it. I had to have something to push it, so I got a Rockford 500.2 Punch amp. Now the system hits well over 143. I should have an updated number on it in the near future. I have also purchased an 18" JL Audio W6 for even deeper bass!
There may not be too many customizations to this page in the near future. For anyone who has been to the page prior to my adding info about my Camaro, I was searching around for a different car to purchase and of course to customize. It had been narrowed down to three possibilities. Those were a 1964 Chevy Impala, 1986 BMW, and a 1995 Chevy Camaro. The update to that is that the choice was made and the 1995 Camaro won out. Information and pictures are already available here.
Well, I hope you enjoyed the tour. If you have any questions, advice, or tips please e-mail me.
