This truck was originally purchased in order to push Will's name into the competition circle's and to allow the club to completely trick out the vehicle even more than it already was.
Credit is due not for Will but for another person. The individual who previously owned the truck had virtually every customization that is currently on the truck. He was not even sure if he wanted to sell the vehicle, but if he decided to, he wanted it to go to another person in a car club who would keep the customization of the vehicle alive. Will took the challange and through that individuals great understanding, the truck was able to be show worthy sooner than estimated.
Soon after getting his hands on the vehicle, Will installed a Rockford Fosgate CD player, a 12 band graphic equilizer, wrapped the dash in black crush velvet, wrapped the glove box, door accents, and various pieces in the same material. It was defenetely worth all the time and effort when you get that extra look, the extra points at the show/competition, and take home a first place trophy!
Will owned this vehicle for less than a year. I'm sure the question coming to mind is...WHY??? Well, sit down for this one....Will was well on his way to a show winning vehicle in the car show circuits as well as the stereo competitions. Until one weird night. Around midnight, his viper alarm went off. Will checked the vehicle, it was secure and safe, so he reset the alarm and went back in and went to bed. Well, about 6am the following morning, there was a hectic knock at the door. It was the neighbor with news that the garage(which houses Will's truck and his neighbors car) was on fire. So, Will ran out to move the vehicles, and then walked back into the house all somber. His wife asked if he was going to move the truck...and then will said, "It IS the truck." It was the S10 that was on fire. So, his customizations and his creation and plain to further express his creativity....had simply vanished in a blink of an eye. I dont have a moral to this story...except maybe keep an eye on your pride and creation.
To see what Will moved onto. His new ride. Take a look at his new 2002 Neon R/T.
