Wrap each scallop in 1/2 slice bacon. Place onto shish kabob
skewers. 3 or 4 per skewer. Broil 3 to 5 mins. Serve with
Horseradish Dipping Sauce.
~Horseradish Dip~
1/3 c. mayonnaise
2 T. horseradish
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
Blend together until smooth. For a variation add 8 strips of bacon,
that has been fried, drained and crumbled.
Serve with chips or crackers.
Broccoli Dip
1 small onion, chopped
3/4 c. finely chopped celery
1 T. butter or margarine
1 8oz. carton garlic process cheese spread
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
Dash each: hot pepper sauce, cayenne pepper,
paprika and worcestershire sauce.
Corn chips or Raw vegetables
In saucepan, saute onion and celery in margarine till tender.
Chop broccoli into small pieces. Add onion mixture with cheese spread,
soup and seasonings. Cook and stir over low heat till cheese melts.
Serve warm with corn chips or raw vegetables.
Lemon-Thyme Dip
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 T. fresh or 1/4 t. dry thyme
1 T. grated lemon peel
2 T. lemon juice
1/2 t. salt
Mix all ingredients, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to blend flavors.
Serve with raw veggies for dipping.
