Recruit having solid senior campaign
By ANDY THORPE

Muncie, IN -- Ball State signee Matt McCollom is having a solid senior season for Mount Zion High School in Illinois.

The 6-foot-2 point guard is averaging 15 ppg a game for Mount Zion, who record is 5-1 this season.

Mount Zion features three future Division I players. Along with McCollom, senior guard Neil Plank will be heading to Wisconsin, while senior forward Jake Sams will be playing next season for Indiana State.

Mount Zion also features a solid junior in 6-6 shooting guard Logan Glosser. Glosser averaged 11 ppg and shot 45-percent from three-point range as a sophomore last season. Hopefully the Cardinals will be recruiting him.
