You rub your aching calf muscles as they begin to knot from exhaustion. Why do dragons need so much space? Well, you think to yourself, at least you're certainly getting your exercise today. You wearily rub your temples and ask the two pixies how much further it is to the next caves.
Kalika grins at you. 'Oh, not too much farther. Maybe a mile or so.' She chuckles as you groan loudly. At Rikale's glare, she sighs and modifies her last statement. 'Less than a mile. Much less. Actually, if you look over there,' the small blue pixie points far down the cave; you can barely see a dark opening, like the maw of some hungry creature, in the corridor wall, 'you can see the next set of caves.' You let out a sigh of pure relief and silently convince your legs to keep moving.
After several minutes, your legs decide to teach you a lesson. You grab the wall as they begin to give out. You glare at Kalika, who begins to giggle.
'Don't worry, we're here!' she says gaily. 'Ready?'
