You follow Kalika and Rikale out into the meadow, relishing the feel of warm sun on your back and neck. After several long minutes of walking through the tall grass, the two pixies stop in front of a strange bush, looking at you expectantly. Blinking a few times, you realize that the bush is planted in sand. What is sand doing out here? And what is a bush doing in it?
You bend over, moaning at the dull ache building up in your knees from constant bending over and straightening up. You peer into the bush, hoping nothing unpleasant jumps out at you. Inside, a pair of bright eyes stare back at you from a furry face. Upon examination, you see the eyes belong to a small, dog-like creature.
The small animal quivers nervously, obviously frightened by your presense. It, however, seems to take a bit of comfort at the nearness of the two pixies. The cub turns its eyes towards its caretakers, whimpering softly. Kalika flies to the baby canine and begins cooing soothingly to it. Meanwhile, Rikale turns to you.
'This is Manele, a rare cypris child. Cypran are canine-like creatures with, as you can see, three bushy tails. They tend to be fairly sedate and shy; Manele, however, is of the soft blue colouration. This means that he is quieter and shyer than most cypran.' She smiles at you. 'Go ahead and approach, but don't startle him!'
You kneel by the small cub and stroke his soft fur, marvelling at its silkiness. The tiny blue animal quivers under your touch at first, but finally begins to relax and enjoy the caressing. Sighing, it closes its eyes and apparently goes to sleep.
You nod, patting the egg. Slowly, you get to your feet, stretching.
As you begin to leave, you see a small sheet of paper in the bush:
